Worlds fastest fireball?

I keed, but all of that hotness does appear a bit close to the fuel tank. Not that I know a damn...

Whatever it is, it looks like it’s about to get a lot more fun and exciting!

I wondered about that as well, but I figured he must know what he was doing.

Come back when everything is wrapped in gold heat tape

It’s not done, there will be a stainless steel heat shield, gold heat tape, and turbo blankets.

Then you need four more pipes.

It’s abstract, and two braided ss feed and return lines makes 4.

But why twins? That’s just going to amplify the lag you’re already inviting with the remote mount setup. Why not run a slightly larger single instead?

Marine biologists will have to learn how to measure turbo lag because for an octopus, there will likely be plenty.

Because at the time of purchasing parts some flaws in logic were had. I didn’t have anybody to bounce ideas off of and here is the result. They arnt exactly expensive turbos so switching to a single won’t be the end of the world.

why will two smaller amplify the lag? half the drive pressure?if they’re sized right and tiny they’ll be fine, a large single could take forever to spool

Why would you mount it so far away? This increases the amount of tubing you need and the risk of leaks. There are reasons people do this the way they do.

Exhaust temperature at the turbos are also lower which will reduce effectiveness. Some vehicles don’t have the space to install turbos in the engine bay or in my case dont have the space to plumb the exhaust out of the engine bay without considerable fabrication and/or sacrifices in ride height.(not including the cost of modifying stock headers or fabracting new ones from scratch) -insert condescending pay play comment here-

Rear mounts don’t usually need an intercooler because the length of charge pipe allows the air to cool. Reduced exhaust and turbo temps lead to less issue with coking around the bearings(according to the internet) Typically due to the reduced exhaust temps the turbines will be sized smaller than they would if they were mounted up front, and have been done with successfully before. I didn’t properly research this project before buying parts the one I’m doing will be laggy but my error dosent mean that they are all bad, and although less efficient they still work.
